Welcoming experience to the club

We moved to Adelaide last December and made contact with Payneham Swimming Club for our son to come and trial. Obviously, we were all very nervous going to a new club, where we knew no one.

By the end of Elliot’s first session, he was smiling and chatting away to the other swimmers and we met some of the board members/parents, who were giving us advice to help us settle in to the area. Never have we had such a warm welcome to any club.

Six months later and I have joined the committee, something I’ve never wanted to do, but with such fantastic people it is a real pleasure.

Elliot is thriving, surrounded by like minded peers and receives amazingly supportive and effective coaching and has qualified for a number of events at the State Champs.
